LOWER:
100 meter run (about .6 on treadmill)
25 alternating lunges (good form. go low, don't let knee go over toe)
200 meter run (about .12 on treadmill)
25 alternating lunges
400 meter run (.25)
25 alternating lunges
800 meter run (.50)
25 alternating lunges
1 mile run
REPEAT SET 2 TIMES, 2nd set do SQUATS instead of lunges. Good form on squats too. Get your buns down low, keep your chest up, back flat...feel the burn. :)
The faster you go the harder it is. How fast can you complete this lower body workout?

  1. I went snowshoeing this morning for 1 hour 45 min. in new soft snow, 12 inches of it and it was tough. I was really sweaty and it was only 18 degrees. When I looked at the workout tonight it looked fun so I did one set with half lunges, half squats and I didn't do the mile run at the end.

    I did the workout this morning, but didn't get the last mile in on the second set. I didn't time my workout because I had to nurse a baby and turn on shows for Clark. What should have taken me 45 minutes took my 1 1/2 hours. At least I got it done! I love these workouts that get miles in without even feel like you've ran a long time.

  3. Jen, you make me tired! After starting dinner for our Stake Father and Son Banquet, then subbing PE at the HS, then back to finish the dinner, serve it, then clean it up, I was too dang tired to workout. And I don't even feel guilty!
